MUSEU DEL CAU FERRAT
Museum with many works of the painter Santiago Rusiñol with his personal collection and other artists of modernism
This building belonged to the artist Santiago Rusiñol, one of the most outstanding representatives of modernism, who acquired this old fishermen's house in 1894 to make it a meeting place for the artists and intellectuals of the time, adding Gothic elements. It became a museum in 1933 and houses many of the painter's works and his personal collection: wrought iron utensils, ceramics, paintings (Picasso, El Greco...). The museum also exhibits other artists of Catalan modernism such as Ramon Casas, Joan Llimona and Isidre Nonell.
