Religious complex that includes a monastery, a sanctuary and a chaplain's house in Montblanc
Built in the 13th century and modified in the 14th century, this religious complex includes a monastery, a sanctuary and a chaplain's house. Looted and ransacked many times during its history, the sanctuary continues to attract pilgrims today. The Italian Gothic alabaster sculpture of the Mare de Déu de la Serra on the altar was canonically crowned on September 9, 1906 and has been celebrated every 25 years since.
