OLD HOSPITAL OF SANTA MAGDALENA
Clinic which is now the seat of the historical archives of Montblanc, a splendid gothic cloister
The church with a single nave and no apse was built in the 14th century, and the hospital between the 15th and 16th centuries, at the request of Ferran II, to care for the sick and poor of the town. Later, a religious community moved in and converted the place into a clinic, before a textile factory took over the building in the 19th century and modified it to suit its needs. Restored in the last century, it is now the seat of the historical archives of Montblanc. Splendid gothic cloister.
