Founded in 1970, the restaurant Espelmes ("candles" in Catalan) is an institution in the city. Run by Ramon Vives and Montserrat Invernón, it is a restaurant that relies on classic sobriety and respect for Catalan culinary traditions, even if some more contemporary preparations are on the menu, on its splendid wine cellar and on its location, a splendid viewpoint overlooking the wide-open valley! Everything is good (we can only recommend the grilled meats, the house is really good at that) and the service is very professional.
