ROSER CHAPEL
Chapel with two paintings in painted mosaics that can be found on its two side walls in Valls
Originally named Santa Anna Chapel, the structure currently visible in the Rosary Chapel dates from the 18th century. The most remarkable thing here? The two painted mosaic paintings found on its two side walls, dating from the mid-seventeenth century. The one on the left represents Pope Pius V giving a flag to the representatives of the Holy League, at war against the infidels, in reaction to Turkish expansionism in the western Mediterranean. The one on the right evokes the battle of Lepanto (October 7, 1571). A visit not to be missed in Valls.
