Castle that sits on a promontory overlooking the sea and a beach, which is now used as a reception hall for weddings

A little to the north of the town in the direction of Altafulla, the imposing fortifications of Tamarit Castle stand out. This Romanesque castle stands on a promontory overlooking the sea and a beautiful beach. Today it is used as a reception hall for weddings and other events. The seaside promenade leading to it from Tarragona is quite pleasant and the beach, which is not very crowded, is quite unique in that it is crowned by this impressive building.
