Palace rebuilt to recover the setting in which lived a noble family, where Charles V resided during his stay in Tarragona.
This 14th century palace recreates the setting in which a noble family lived (the house has been home to many of the city's most influential families over the last 500 years). Charles V lived here during his stay in Tarragona in 1542. On the second floor, an original room with a vaulted structure is characteristic of the houses of the Tarragona nobility of the 14th and 15th centuries. The second floor introduces us to an 18th and 19th century decor: brightly colored gilded furniture, frescoes, crystal lamps.
