PORT LED MUSEUM
Museum in a former goods storage shed that tells the story of maritime signals and their evolution
This museum, opened since 2000 in an old warehouse, traces the history - ancient! - of the port of Tarragona, which dates back to 218 BC, when the Romans landed on these shores. The different sections of the port, fishing, yachting and trade are presented. The lighthouse museum tells the history of maritime signals and their evolution, as well as the history of the city's lighthouses. A very instructive visit recommended to those who are passionate about the sea and history, and of course to apprentice sailors!
