Gardens located along the imposing walls, the oldest Roman building still standing in Tarragona
This walk will take you through pleasant gardens along the imposing walls, built in the 2nd century BC and reinforced between the 16th and 18th centuries. Outside of Italy, this is the oldest Roman construction still standing today. Of the original 3,500 meters of wall, 1,100 meters are still standing, or one third. In the evening, the site is beautifully illuminated, inviting you to go for a little night walk.

Les murailles de Tarragone en Espagne sont très bien conservées. Elles représentent une occasion de faire une jolie promenade et laissent deviner la nécessité de se protéger dont les personnes avaient besoin à cette époque. A voir !

Une belle promenade tout autour des remparts, qui sont bien aménages sous forme de jardins. C'est une visite complémentaire pour découvrir la vieille ville. L'état de conservation est bien. Vous pourrez les longer et sortir par l'autre extrémité sans besoin de faire demi tour.
