THE ROYAL COLLEGES - RENAISSANCE MUSEUM
Beautiful example of Renaissance architecture where we can observe the busts of the kings of the crown of Aragon, Ramon Berenguer IV
In 1564, Charles V decided to build the Royal Colleges - a beautiful example of Renaissance architecture - which housed several schools. Their hidden purpose was to convert Muslims to Christianity. In the charming courtyard of the cloister and its gallery of arcades, which is worth a visit, we can see the busts of the kings of the crown of Aragon, from Ramon Berenguer IV to Philip IV. The Renaissance interpretation center is located in the church.
