Declared a natural park since 1989 and occupying an area of 3,200 ha, this park is interesting for two reasons: its geological characteristics with predominantly red sandstone and the presence of many shrubs typical of the region: arbutus, oval-leafed amelanchier, heather, daphne garou, alaterne, fragon false holly, juniper, lentiscle or dwarf palm. More than one hundred and twenty different species of birds have also been observed, including Bonelli's eagle and the kestrel.
