Built in 2008, this station is located in the center of the city, about 800 meters south of the historic Estación del Norte, rather reserved for cercanias trains (between our RER and TER). Since the inauguration of the AVE Valencia-Madrid line (high speed trains) at the end of 2010, it is possible to reach Madrid in a little more than 1h30. Regular connections with Barcelona (about 3 hours). The station is also used to reach other cities in the Valencian Community such as Alicante (about 1h30). There is a tourist information point.
