ABADIA D'ESPI
Set in a beautiful cream colour area, this restaurant, held by Juan Carlos Espí, focuses on the quality of the products offered. Products from the market but also and mainly produced from its own 3 hectare, located in Picassent, 20 km from Valencia. Its objective: they represent 60% of the fruits and vegetables served, and are already in the menus of aubergines, tomatoes, potirons, turnips, onions, potatoes, carrots, lettuce, soon followed by beans, peas and artichokes but also des, almonds and oranges… A concern for traceability that should allow you to taste a few of the specialities of the house. Try fideadas (small paëllas based on tiny vermicelli) or meloso meloso, served with gambas and ham, or even by the rabo of Toro con buñuelos de (bull tail, with cauliflower doughnuts and broccoli). Finally, don't leave without essayé langostino fresco (juicy of fresh cheese langoustines) or pepitos con con espinacas (small squid sandwiches, served with spinach and chives). Another reason for satisfaction, a very good wine cellar. A place not to miss!
