Meeting place of the Erasmus of Passage and young Valenciens, but also open to a clientele of all ages, the Bodeguilla del gato ("the chat tavern") is a small picturesque bodega overlooking the beautiful plaza del Negrito. Packed on weekends, it is advisable to book to test its good tapas, including the bravas ou or the pie and its blueberry grout. Not to mention another specialty of the site, the Toro rabo. Authentic and always animated, this bodega is a safe value of the barrio del Carmen.
