OCEANOGRÀFIC
A remarkable aquarium in Valencia, the largest in Europe, with a restaurant, dolphinarium and various areas.
Oceanogràfic is an immense complex imagined by the architect Félix Candela and inaugurated in 2002. The Submarino restaurant, located in the heart of the complex, is undoubtedly the most emblematic building in Oceanogràfic with its lily-shaped structure. Covering more than 110,000 m ², Oceanogràfic is Europe's largest aquarium. It is divided into ten large areas that reconstitute the habitats of the Mediterranean, the polar oceans (Arctic and Antarctica), the islands, the tropical seas, temperate seas and the Red Sea. The park also hosts a huge delphinarium with performances several times a day. After a reorganization of its facilities, it opens its doors with two important innovations, a habitat for crocodiles and an exhibition of butterflies to observe the development phases of many species. Other news to report: the Aldabra turtles can now be seen all year round; new cylindrical aquarium with hammer sharks; another dedicated to clowns, highly appreciated by children; and finally the construction of a new lake where migratory birds can stop in Valencia. Nearly one and a half million visitors discover it every year.

The ratings and reviews below reflect the subjective opinions of members and not the opinion of The Little Witty.
