VELES E VENTS
A spectacular structure, in homage to a poem by Ausias March, at the entrance to the sports marina in Valencia.
On the occasion of the celebration of the 32nd America's Cup in 2007, the city of Valencia has a spectacular structure on four levels located at the entrance to the sports marina and christened «Veles e Vents» (Sails and Winds) in tribute to a poem from Ausiàs March, taken in music by the famous singer Valencian Raimon. Designed by the English architect David Chipperfield in a minimalist style, the Veles e Vents is composed of horizontal platforms that offer excellent perspective and shadow at any time of the day. This is the emblem and the America's Cup HQ.
