MUSEUM AND CLOISTER OF THE COLLEGIATE CHURCH
It presents some valuable pieces. On the right of the entrance, the chapel decorated with Manises ceramics and four large Flemish tapestries from the th century. The elegant Renaissance cloister is decorated with ceramics from Talavera la Reina (near Madrid). On the floor, beautiful pieces such as the small wooden cross of "boj", miniature scenes of the New and the Old Testament finely carved on the cross. You will see three paintings from Greco, including San Francisco, Fray Leon meditando and Shepherds'adoration. The little triptych of the Passion, of Meet, is a pure wonder. The Cristo aguardando the flagelación (Christ waiting for flogging) of Jan Gossaert, says Mabuse, is a very strange picture where contrast the richness of the orange column and the expression of désarroi of the face of Christ.
