The Museum of Fine Arts (Museo de Bellas Artes) occupies a former seminar in a beautiful th century building surmounted by a large dome in blue tiles. The course begins with a permanent collection of medieval and Renaissance religious art, with works by Alcanyís, Nicolau, Jacomart and Reixach, among others. We then discover a superb collection of Valencian paintings dating from the Golden Century, with paintings from Ribalta, Ribera and Sorolla. Finally, the museum presents an interesting collection of Baroque European painting and Spanish painting with works by Van Dyck, Murillo, Velázquez, El Greco and Goya.
