The Botanical Garden in Valencia is managed by the University of Valencia and has hosted a research centre since the year 2000. The origin of the garden dates back to 1802 when the authorities flying to the university that parcel of land which then served as a vegetable garden. Today, the botanical garden welcomes more than 4 500 plant species spread in twenty collections, the occasion for an informative and refreshing stroll during the summer hot summer.
