MARCHÉ MOSSEN SORELL
We are far from the Mercado Central or Mercado Colón but this small neighbourhood market, in the heart of the Barrio del Carmen, does not lack charm. Entirely renovated and authorized since 2017, it houses a dozen stalls in a glass structure that has kept its original layout and is located on the former Gothic palace of Mossen Sorell, destroyed in a fire. Art lovers will be delighted to know that three Gothic doors survived the flames and that one of them is located at the Louvre Museum. Another pleasure of this rather family market which also serves as a leisure and meeting point for neighbours, its opening hours which allow you to visit it in the evening, especially on Fridays.
