DUCAL PALAU DELS BORJA
Palace with a beautiful Gothic patio, the birthplace of Francisco de Borja, the most emblematic monument of Gandia.
It is the most emblematic monument of Gandia because it is the house where Francisco de Borja was born. The oldest part dates from the fourteenth century, but the whole was remodeled in the nineteenth century by the Jesuits to turn it into a sanctuary. The duke's palace, which is built against the wall, has a beautiful Gothic patio and is now owned by the Jesuits. You can visit the oratory cell of Francisco Borgia, the crown room, the golden gallery, five baroque rooms and other richly decorated rooms.

Une visite incontournable. Le palais est très bien conservé, le prix de 6 euros est tout à fait correct pour ce type de musée, très beaux intérieurs médiévaux, avec ses plafonds gothiques, richement décorés.
