Buddhist restaurants are synonymous with vegetarian cuisine. Run by the monastery's disciples, it's a sort of huge canteen. You sit down after buying a ticket at the entrance, and your food is brought to you on a cart. They are served in large pots (rice, soup, vegetables), topped with salads and rolls. The dining room is colorful and the service unpretentious. Outside, a small counter offers vegetarian snacks and all kinds of desserts for a quick lunch.
