An atypical hike where you'll come across many free-roaming monkeys, just a stone's throw from the city: colorful encounters!
Monkey Hill is located in Kam Shan Country Park. It's a unique place in Hong Kong, home to many free-roaming monkeys. The hike begins at the Shek Lei Pui reservoir. Macaques and their young are numerous along the park's main road (where traffic is very light). There are also a few trails that go deep into the forest. Don't go near the monkeys, and don't feed them - they can be mischievous, not to say aggressive!
How to get there. Take the 81KMB bus or cab to Shek Lei Pui Reservoir.
