Established in Lamma in 1997, Bookworm Café was one of the first haunts for Westerners living on the island. The first vegetarian restaurant on Lamma, it was a kind of institution that heralded the bohemian, even hippy, turn that Lamma was to take. Today, the café has changed ownership several times, but the book-lined interior remains warm and inviting, and the food (pizzas, burgers, brunches, cakes...) is always good. Several vegetarian options. A good address not far from the Tin Hau Temple.
