The village's reputation is built on its many waterside restaurant terraces

In contrast to Yung Shue Wan, Sok Kwu Wan is a haven of tranquility famous for its seafood restaurants by the sea. Once a bustling fishing port, this village retains its authenticity with small houses, boats and a relaxed atmosphere. Accessible by ferry from Central, Sok Kwu Wan is also the starting point for popular hikes, such as the trail to Yung Shue Wan or to the south of the island. The village is famous for its panoramic views over the boat-dotted bay and for its small Tin Hau temple.
