Few sont chaan Teng, the popular and cheap restaurants of Hong Kong, have retained their original framework, dating back to the 1950 s. The Mido Café is an exception: with its ceiling fans, concentrated tables and tiled walls, it even served as a multi-film décor. The kitchen is, like the place, an outmoded strand, but deliciously typical: Sew fried noodles in pork, rice at the coasted pork coast, petits pains and toast to the hongkong. The house classics also include some drinks, including rabbit yong milk, a delicate blend of black tea and concentrated milk, or red bean bean, including red beans, condensé condensed milk and crushed ice.
