Founded in 639, it is the oldest monastery in Yunnan province. The original temple was rebuilt several times under the Ming then the Qing, its current structure dating back to the th century. His main interest is not his bamboo forest, but his 500 arhats (Sakyamuni disciples) of human size, clay statues dating back to the th century. The courses, shaded by secular trees and magnolias, add to the charm of the place.
