The Zuloaga family house in San Joaquin was built in late th century. In 1853, Dr. Alejo Zuloaga Egusquiza was born as the rector and founder of Carabobo University from 1892 to 1900, and then Rector at the Central university of Caracas (UCV). The building had various functions: poulperie, prefecture, telegraph centre. Since 1987 it belongs to the Polar Foundation, which has restored it very well, to make it a more refined place, exhibitions and presentations by local and national artists.
