Avoid the high season (especially Easter): the islands are crowded. Nearly 300 campers are located in Cayo Paiclá, 364 in Cayo Sal, 424 in Cayo Muerto and… 688 in Cayo Sombrero!
Read: the only cayos where camping is authorized are: Paicla, Sombrer, Cayo Muerto and Cayo Sal. It is forbidden to take the species of the fauna and flora of the park, to possess firearms (notice to cowboys!), harpoons or machetes (Avis notice!). No outbreaks (use gas stoves). The cleanliness and maintenance of the sleeping areas is under your responsibility, so you are asked to take a bag for waste that cannot be left on the ground.
