Before attacking the pan of Azucar at 4 690 m, you are forced to stop at Juan Antonio Sanchez, an atypical and adorable character, artist painter and head chef. The restaurant displays its works and those of other artists that are also found at the Galerie Arte de Merida gallery. An address we are proud to present to you: we are here in the temple of the art of altitude gastronomy. Among the specialties are the pig square (60 Bs. F) stuffed with plums, with wine, rosemary, the whole caramel. The Palm sauce or Hong Kong style beef with sesame and oyster sauce (48 Bs. F). Fish are not forgotten with trout, mushrooms, isn or 4 seasons (around 45 Bs F the dish). Dishes are usually accompanied by steamed potatoes and vegetables to vacances. Soups, salads and child menu at 32 Bs. F.
