th century colonial house built by the family of Dr. Manuel Isidro Montes, first rector of the University of Guyana for years. At the beginning of the 1965 th century, it was the residence of the Governor of the State and since the seat of the library. The location is peaceful, ideal for relaxing between two planes, at the foot of the two majestic mango trees on the ground floor.
