Furniture and various objects in the decor of a th century house. In 1819, Simón Bolívar wrote his famous speech by Angostura directed at the Republican Congress. That same year, he was elected President of Venezuela and began, just afterwards, the campaign for the liberation of New Grenada. From 1937 to 1954, the house worked as an orphanage and school. In 1967, it is used for the first time as a museum and site of tourist activities.
