CASA DEL CABLE

A magnificent house hosting the Proyectoparia association, which was the place of the first telephone communication between South America and Europe (in this case Marseille), more than 120 years ago! Hence the name Casa del Cable. Also known as Casa Del Cable Francés, it was here in 1996 a century after the link that the first computer equipped with the Internet was born on Paria. History repeats itself with two modern communication systems in two distinct eras.
