NORWICH CATHEDRAL
The construction of Norwich Cathedral dates back to the th century and most of its architecture is Romanesque. Near the master-altar, in a magnificent set of possibilities, the lines of the organ align with the slender dome. Left of the choir, whose woodwork date back to the th century, we must not miss the "Epingham Window", a stained glass window devoted to Sir Thomas Epingham, dead in Azincourt. The two-storey cloister (1297-1425) features voûtes of all beauty and, once on the cathedral area, you would feel in a separate village. The activity that reigns there seems to be cut off from the modern world and entirely dedicated to the preservation of this sumptuous heritage. For passers-by bystanders, the journey is soothing and secluded.
