This lovely house was once inhabited by Miss Mary Pearson Strong, from whom Charles Dickens drew inspiration for the character of Miss Betsey Trotwood in David Copperfield. The museum explores the relationship between the famous British author and the town of Broadstairs. Within its walls, you'll discover objects and clothing that once belonged to the writer. You'll also discover letters written by Dickens about the town. There's also a short info point on Broadstairs, which may be of interest before taking the tour any further.
