Built in the early 19th century to welcome travelers between London and Tunbridge Wells, The George is now a cosy pub that has successfully blended the old with the contemporary. Parquet flooring, fireplaces, sofas and beams are a perfect match for the blue-grey walls, and there's even a pretty secret garden in the patio. The bar boasts no less than a dozen ciders and beers on draught. Warm and friendly like most English pubs, you'll have a great time here, and it's always busy.
