HEVER CASTLE & GARDENS
The history of this romantic castle begins in 1270, and is forever linked to Anne Boleyn, mother of ElizabethI and second wife of Henry VIII, who spent her childhood here. Her fate can be discovered in the film Two Sisters for a King. There are a number of beautiful rooms to discover, including Henry VIII's drawing room and bedroom. The billionaire who bought the building in 1903 added a collection of miniature houses and a garden with a yew maze. Spanning over 50 hectares, this is a typical Kent site, a hidden gem not to be missed!
