This 70 m long giant, whose origins still remain a mystery, was carved into the rock of the hill in the 16th or 17th century. Until the 19th century, the contours were only visible under a certain light, or after a snowfall, but in 1874 they were marked with yellow bricks. It is one of the two main hill figures in England, along with the Abbas Giant Ring in Dorchester. It's not a must-see, but if you're in the area, it's a curiosity that may be worth a visit for amateurs.

A voir
Je ne connaissais pas son existence. A voir absolument. C'est un peu le petit Nazca Britannique.
