Opinions NEW STEINE HOTEL Brighton

Don't book this hotel! I booked a triple room 2 weeks ago. They emailed me the night before check-in and telling me that triple room was not available. They forced me to have 2 individual rooms. The room was small with very bad smell. Dinner was terrible too.

Great value for an overnight stay, great location , friendly staff and a tasty breakfast. Our room was a bit average but the price makes this completely acceptable.

Points positifs :
joli petit hôtel charmant rénové avec goût. Situé dans une rue charmante so British. Central à quelques minutes à pied de la pier. Chambre calme cosy confortable avec une jolie vue sur les jolies façades des immeubles d'en face et petite vue mer sur le côté. Belle décoration de la salle du petit-déjeuner. Gérante française sympathique.

Points négatifs :
le parking à Brighton est compliqué. Comptez 2/3£ de l'heure selon les rues. Selon votre heure d'arrivée et de départ, il peut être utile d'acheter un bon 8£ à l'hôtel la journée. Petit-déjeuner bon servi à table, pas de buffet, bémol : chocolat chaud et oeufs brouillés pas bons (= couleur orange (poudre ?), pas acceptable pour un 4 étoiles). Personnel gentil mais présentation à revoir (mal rasé et en t-shirt la veille, moyen pour un 4 étoiles...) Nous étions intéressés pour manger le soir mais ce monsieur n'était pas très motivé pour faire réchauffer (...), pas très professionnel, donc nous avons mangé ailleurs. Enfin, un peu cher 240£ pour 3 fin août.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Despite the location, the hotel was surprisingly quiet. The rooms were well equipped with beautiful bathrooms. Service was excellent and the breakfast was great. Thank you!

El servicio fue muy bueno. El señor muy agradable, y atento en todo momento. El precio fue muy asequible, y la habitación no tenía ningún desperfecto. Habitación aseada.

Couldn't really fault this hotel. Ideal location. Very central. Friendly staff and comfortable room.

Excellent location but the rooms are quite small congested.

Enjoyed my stay here for a couple of nights.
The single room was very small but somehow managed to feature almost every facility barring a toilet which was a shared one on the floor below.
It was good value and I'd definitely stay again.

Stayed here for two night on a festival weekend, staff were so friendly and polite, bed was super comfy and bedroom was so homely. I don’t quite understand the bad reviews about the shower because personally it was the best shower I’ve ever had in my life lol. Highly recommend would definitely stay here again.
