The history of Chichester Cathedral dates back to 681, when St. Wilfrid came to Selsey to Christianize Sussex. In 1066, the Normans moved the building to a larger city: Chichester. Today, the church is famous for its 20th-century modern artworks: stained-glass windows by Chagall, tapestries by John Piper... It's a beautiful and imposing historic site, which is worth visiting free of charge, which is quite rare. A must-see for history buffs, there's so much to discover.
