One of the oldest cathedrals in the world, its construction dates back to the 11th century. Its transepts and crypt are Romanesque, while the nave, remodeled in the 14th century, is Gothic. Behind the high altar, the sculpture of Christ on the Cross is a 19th-century copy of the 13th-century original. In the Lady Chapel, murals painted between 1498 and 1524 depict miracles attributed to the Virgin Mary. These are copies on wood, covering and protecting the fragile originals. A magnificent monument.

A savoir !
