Don Walser founded this refuge in 1999, on what was then a muddy field. Specializing in the rescue and care of monkeys, this animal center not only welcomes all species, but is also a sanctuary for owls. You can come and meet them and watch them feed, or learn more about their habits and behaviours in conversation with the staff. It's a great family outing if you've got kids. There's even a café, picnic tables and play areas on site.
