Housed in an old fisherman's cottage built in 1690, the pink walls and thatched roof of the Old Thatch are a sure sign of things to come. The Old Thatch is a kitschy tea room with a cosy British feel. Inside, pink dominates and the decor is made up of plates, pictures and photos. The menu is also logically very traditional, offering sausages, jacket potatoes, sandwiches, soups, scrambled eggs, ploughman's and pastries. The small garden is pleasant in fine weather.

Chouette resto où nous avons bien mangé à Shanklin. Je n'hésiterai pas à le recommander.
