Dorset Cruises Ltd offers a unique experience in Bournemouth. Their boat, the Dorset Queen, is a vintage motor yacht from the 1930s, which is said to have taken part in the evacuation of Dunkirk in 1940. Lovingly restored in 2008, it now hosts a wide range of events including weddings, anniversaries, wine and champagne tastings, and Gin cruises. The boat features several amenities, such as a multi-stage sound system, an upper deck with Prosecco bar and panoramic view, a foredeck with retractable awning, a fully heated lower saloon with cabin-style seating, a main bar with a wide selection of gins, rums, vodkas, beers, wines, champagne, tea and coffee, as well as men's and women's toilets. The boat also has an enclosed aft deck with barbecue area, dance floor and disco lights. The Dorset Queen also has exclusive mooring rights at some of Poole Harbour's finest restaurants.
