North of St Austell, the Eden Project is one of Cornwall's main attractions and a flagship of post-industrial regeneration. On a converted former kaolin mine, an ecotourism and sustainable development hub has been developed, acclaimed for its initiative. Two immense sets of 10-metre-high domes house plants from the four corners of the globe, reflecting the diversity of the planet's vegetation. Two themes are represented: tropical and Mediterranean regions. Games on site.
