THE POST INN
In the north-east of the park, between the dual carriageway and the wild hills, you'll find this pub, a firm favorite with local farmers. Real ales and draught ciders are the perfect accompaniment to the burgers, steaks, sausages, cottage pies, lamb, lasagne and fish & chips on offer, as well as baguettes at lunchtime. The pretty bar and large fireplace make this a typical spot. We particularly appreciate the fireplace in winter after a day out and about, and the beer garden in fine weather. It's the perfect place to end the day.
