CASTLE DROGO
Built for the Drewe family by Sir Edwin Lutyens in the early 20th century, there's nothing exceptional about the exterior of this castle, but the interior is that of a wealthy nobleman's residence. It represents the layout and decoration of the 1930s, with period furniture and accessories in the kitchens, bedrooms and living rooms. From the chateau, you can take a walk in the countryside, where the surroundings are both superb and mysterious, worthy of a Caspar Friedrich painting, especially when the mist rises and invites itself into the landscape.
