The magnificent building is well worth a visit, and houses the city's largest museum-gallery. Its delightful Gothic facade houses an exhibition on the history of Exeter and Devon, as well as a wide range of interesting collections. Zoology, anthropology, fine arts, archaeology, geology: 17,500 objects, works and witnesses to the past are on display, including specimens of invertebrates and mammals, paintings, drawings, sculptures, prints and much more.
