Perched on a hill 2 km from the beaches of Minehead, surrounded by greenery, this YHA youth hostel really does look like a mountain chalet. Rustic, warm and intimate (8 rooms only), it appeals to the discerning visitor. Here, people chat around the fireplace in winter and in the huge garden in summer, which is particularly pleasant and enjoyable. It's quiet and restful. What more could you ask for? This is an ideal place to return to after a day's walk or visit to the surrounding area.
