With its porthole doors, inter-storey floors and rounded corridors, this hostel is a fervent reminder of Bristol's important maritime past. Formerly a hangar on the docks, its building has retained the brick walls and the large pipes that run through the ceilings. However, the interiors are very modern and comfortable, with a bar/café, laundry, three lounges and bright bedrooms. It is a typical YHA urban sign, suitable for families as well as young travellers, with a little touch of the city.
